AOL - Senior Designer, Money & Finance, Small Business (Dec. 2006 - Present)

Worked with creative director, editor-in-chiefs, and product owners to create compelling experience by visual design. Works include AOL Money & Finance's (soon to be DailyFinance) Quotes and Portfolios web and desktop applications design, WalletPop (personal finance site and iPhone app). Small Business and StartUp 3 (online entrepreneurship reality series).

AOL - Designer, Brand, Network Standards & Guidelines (Sep. 2006 - Dec. 2006)

Designed and established global pattern and standards across AOL programming products and services that conforms to the brand strategy. Documented and distributed guidelines that articulate standards and best practices for everyone who creates the AOL experience.

AOL - Designer, AOL Programming (Aug. 2005 - Sep. 2006)

Worked with art directors, AOL programming editors, and team of designers to fulfill graphic design requests. Developed innovating design solutions to deliver enhancing user experience for the AOL programming channels including: Money & Finance, Small Business, Black Voices, Research & Learn, Horoscopes, and Books.

Clubessential, LLC -  Lead Designer (Mar. 2003 - Jul. 2005)

Creative lead for all internal and external engagements. Worked closely with account managers to fulfill all clients' web design requests. Designed and coded HTML and CSS for private clubs within the parameters of company's web-based product. Collaborated with sales and marketing team to develop all digital and print advertisements as well as the product GUI development with the developers to maximize design flexibility in existing and future enhancements. Trained and supervise junior designers to work with account managers in fulfilling clients' web graphic design and production.

Freddie Mac - Designer Consultant (Apr. 2002 - Mar. 2003)

Worked with art director to design, update, and improve the corporate intranet. Helped enhance the information architecture and usability by designing easy-to-navigate graphic user interface masthead.
Developed multimedia presentations using Flash for various conferences displayed to attract visitors and promote the Freddie Mac brand.

JANG Design - Co-Founder, Designer (Sep. 2001 - 2005)

Freelance multimedia design partnership, commissioned to work on various projects such as entertainment promotional videos, weddings, and documentaries. Roles include: film making and directing, conceptualizing and storyboarding, motion graphics design, video and sound editing, DVD interface design and authoring.

Proxicom, Inc. -  Designer (Apr. 2000 - Mar. 2002)

Collaborated with Creative Producers, Art Directors, and team of designers to produce high-end, creative web solutions for varieties of clients. Designed graphics and animation that not only arouse interest, but reflect the branding strategy that the client has determined. Outlined the information structure, created storyboards, and solved the user interface issues that challenged the web production project. Also assisted in design of proposals and presentations. Extensive use of Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Powerpoint, and Word. Projects include: Primedia's Gr8Ride.com, Nike.com, Timberland.com, Toyota.com, Elisabeth.com.

Created visual aid graphics and animation for multimedia training and learning. Extensive use of Photoshop, Illustrator, and Flash. Projects include Telcordia's Radio Transmission Fundamentals Series CBT CD-ROM and GM Finance University Web-Based Training (WBT) interface design.
