Money & Finance Channel Design (2005)

Involved in the latter part of the Money & Finance channel redesign and iterated mocks based on the design direction from the art director and business owners' feedbacks and requests. The design consist of overall color scheme, module styles and dynamic lead module customization. All of which to comform to the AOL brand and style guide for the consistency and credibility.

The approved final design was then translated to developers by creating visual design specifications.

Alan Crotzer

Alan Crotzer, 45, was exonerated based on DNA evidence after spending almost 25 years in prison for a crime he did not commit. This site showcases Alan Crotzer's story with the powerful photographs taken by Vance Jacobs. (www.alancrotzer.org)

 

Solo production from plan and design to launch and web mastering. Worked closely with the client, consulted and determined the goal/strategy, design, and build out. Also responsible for maintenance and updates of the site.

Completely redesigned from concept, information architecture organization to build out.

 

Before: Previous corporate site design and content did not convey the company's description or its offerings. Products and Services descriptions were vague. The web presence had no marketing effect.

 

Concept/Solution: Revived the original branding specification for Clubessential, developed by Hamagami & Carroll. Adapted the proposal shell and presentation used by sales team to create more in-depth description about the company and its offerings. Added numerous methods of contacts including form submission for user to fill out while visiting the site.

 

Result: Significant increase in traffic with online contact form submissions from prospects interested in the products and services.

Intranet Design (2002~2003)

 

Responsible for design, update, and improve their corporate intranet. Helped enhance the information architecture and usability by designing easy to navigate graphic user interface (GUI) masthead.

Acting consultant to the departments within Freddie Mac organization to help organize and launch their intranet presence.

Involved in production phase, assisted the lead designers in preparing images for the creative technologists to use for build out. After completion of design and production, produced an interactive online style guide that was distributed worldwide for site globalization efforts.
